Getting started
- Open tapón and complete the initial setup, including your lock PIN.
- Create a profile and choose the apps or categories you want to protect.
- Register a physical key, or write a new key from the Keys section.
- Tap the key with your iPhone to start a session.
Common questions
The key is not recognised.
Make sure NFC is enabled, keep the top of your iPhone close to the tag, and check that the tag was registered by tapón. Tags must be read from inside the app; tapón does not currently use web links on tags.
My apps are not appearing.
Check that Family Controls permission is enabled in Settings and that the profile has saved its app selection. Apple controls which apps and categories are available to select.
The session does not appear immediately.
Open tapón and refresh the status. Device Activity and Live Activities are managed by iOS and may take a moment to update.
